Cincinnati Bengals Vs Baltimore Ravens: Las Vegas Line & Pick Against the Spread

Cincinnati Bengals Will Be Served Up to Baltimore Ravens in NFL Week 17

Todd Jacobs
The Cincinnati Bengals take the daunting trip to Baltimore to take on the Baltimore Ravens January 2nd. The Cincinnati Bengals knocked the San Diego Chargers out of the NFL Playoffs last weekend and although they cannot knock the Baltimore Ravens out of the NFL Playoffs, they can hurt their momentum heading in.

Cincinnati Bengals Defense vs Baltimore Ravens Offense

Defense has been the consistent for the Cincinnati Bengals. Unfortunately they have been consistently mediocre. The Cincinnati Bengals secondary has been solid this season. They are allowing 222 yards per game through the air but they will be making moves for a cornerback in the off season. The run defense is yielding 120 yards on the ground which could leave them open to Ray Rice pounding the ball in this game.

Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens offense is under achieving this season and it has not shown signs of improvement. Ray Rice has been a major key to this teams success and Flacco has continued to be a quarterback that cannot seem to find the open man for the big play on a consistent basis.

The Baltimore Ravens pass offense is averaging 224 yards per game and Joe Flacco has failed to take over games all season long. As the NFL Playoff picture sits right now, the Baltimore Ravens will play the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the NFL Playoffs at home. It will be an interesting conflict of great defense versus the most cerebral quarterback in the NFL today. The Cincinnati Bengals defense and the Baltimore Ravens offense are even and neither has an edge.

Baltimore Ravens Defense vs Cincinnati Bengals Offense

Ed Reed has hit his rhythm as the best ball hawking secondary player of the decade and the Baltimore Ravens are on a roll as they close out their 2010 NFL regular season and prepare for the NFL Playoffs. Ray Lewis has been solid all season as well for this Baltimore Ravens defense that is allowing 224 yards through the air. The strong suit if this defense is their run defense. They are allowing just 93 yards per game on the ground.

Carson Palmer and the Cincinnati Bengals have fallen short of most NFL prognosticators predictions. The loss of Chad Ocho Cinco and Terrell Owens has created a new dynamic for this team but Ed Reed will handle this young bunch of receivers in this game. The passing game for the Cincinnati Bengals has averaged 228 yards per game this season but they will be below that average in this game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens defense has the edge over the Cincinnati Bengals offense.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens -9.5: Pick Against the Spread & Breakdown

The Las Vegas Hilton Superbook has posted the Baltimore Ravens as a prohibitive nine and a half point favorite over the Cincinnati Bengals. Nine and a half points is a lot of points in the NFL but this is the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are 3-4 against the spread on their home field. The Cincinnati Bengals are 2-5 against the spread on the road this season and it is not looking good in their last game. Take the Baltimore Ravens -9.5 points over the Cincinnati Bengals.
