Cincinnati Bengals Vs New England Patriots: Las Vegas Line & Pick Against Spread

Cincinnati Heads into New England with High Expectations

Todd Jacobs
A clash between possibly two of the most offensive NFL teams the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots, should not disappoint on September 12th. Tom Brady is looking to show he is worth a new contract and Randy Moss is also in a contract year as the season gets underway this weekend.

Passing Attacks Will Be Explosive Between New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals

Carson Palmer has plenty of weapons as the season opens in New England. Two key additions to the passing game are Terrell Owens and tight end Jermaine Gresham. Gresham could be Palmer's favorite target in this game. The big tight end is fearless across the middle and when all is said and done in the 2010 NFL season, Gresham may be an NFL rookie of the year.

Tom Brady has plenty to motivate him as a quarterback this season and this game could be the start of a big season for the New England Patriots quarterback.. Brady will want to come out hot against a team that is getting a lot of buzz in preseason predictions. Edge in passing goes to New England Patriots.

Running Games of Cincinnati and New England Have Room for Improvement

The New England Patriots have never had one solid go to running back. This could be why they pass more than they should over the course of a game. This season may be no no different as Brady backfield prospects are limited in ability or too old to play the position.

The Cincinnati Bengals find themselves relying on Cedric Benson in the running game as the season begins. One problem is Benson may not be able to put together two seasons of solid rushing seasons. If Benson falters who will take over in Cincinnati? If the answer is Bernard Scott or Brian Leonard the Bengals are in bad shape. Cincinnati Bengals have the edge on the running game.

Cincinnati Bengals vs New England Patriots -6

The New England Patriots are favored by six points by the Las Vegas Hilton Superbook for a reason. They are a much better team. The Cincinnati Bengals may end up being a public team so keep an eye out for this line to move down as game time approaches.
