Cinco De Mayo-Style Poetry

A Celebration of 'Mexican Heritage' and Pride in U.S.A

robbwindow
French advertisements and boarded up avant garde poetry
Pablo Naruda, and nice little aphorisms march up the yard
French theories about interesting ways to free the cashpile
Mexican fajita's, tomato salsa's and green vine cherry smile.

Thankfully all was not lost in the American Express cards
and quite frankly Mexican man of May travelled five yards
to see Napoleon Bonaparte meet the good, bad and bubbly
washed down in the finest chataux in all of hispanic wubbly.

The debt then was far greater than the debt now paso's
and francs, dollars and euro's and south american logos
In the beuritto wallet of green lettuce leaves kos
everything tasted better back in the days of agriculture.

Left behind are the tracks in the soil shaved by the handheld
human force of horse drawn ploughs and other constellations
welded in the Mexican sky, look can you see the poncho
quadrant, imagery, heritage and history of these celebrations.
