Cindy and George Anthony, the parents of Casey Anthony, will be giving their first interview since Casey was acquitted of murder. The interview will serve as the premier of the new fall season for "The Doctor Phil Show", which will air on September 12, 2011.
Please take note that the Anthony's will not receive money for this interview. Dr. Phil will, however, make a donation to their charity, 'Caylee's Fund'. Dr. Phil goes on to add, just to make sure it is clear, that Cindy and George Anthony will not derive any money from the Caylee Fund.
Dr. Phil went on to say, "The charity will "focus on promoting processes to educate the public about - and advocate for - grandparents' rights as well as missing and abused children."
Supposedly nothing is off limits. Dr. Phil can ask the Anthony's any questions that he deems necessary. Dr. Phil says that although the Anthony's have been on the front page right along with Casey, their own personal story has never been told. Dr. Phil is giving us little hints that should draw a rather large audience and that the Anthony's will answer the questions that any of us would ask them if we had the opportunity.
If you were George and Cindy Anthony would be totally honest and up-front with Dr. Phil? Would you shy away from the hard questions? Do you think that Dr. Phil will ask them straight out if they know how Caylee died? What questions would you ask?
Whether Casey has to do her year's probation or not, whether Cindy and George know more than they will tell, or even if Dr. Phil clams up and asks easy questions - sure, right - let's not forget Caylee. She didn't ask to be born into that family, she didn't ask to have Casey for a mom but she paid the ultimate price.
Although there was doubt and suspicion regarding aspects of Cindy and George's involvement or participation in the death of Caylee, these were her grandparents. That little girl lived with them and they seemed devoted to her.
Perhaps this interview with Dr. Phil will finally put to rest the some of the hidden facts that were never brought out before. We look forward to hearing what Cindy and George Anthony have to say to Dr. Phil and to the world.
