Cindy McCain Steals Rachel Ray Recipe

Cindy McCain Family Recipe: Passion Fruit Mousse from Food Network

Zane WaltZ
Reports surfaced on ABC News' by Jan Simmonds, that a Cindy McCain family recipe was stolen from Rachel Ray at the Food Network. So what recipe did Rachel Ray create so tasty that Cindy McCain would steal it for her Cindy McCain family recipe? According to the Huffington Post it is a recipe for Passion Fruit Mousse.

How a Cindy McCain family recipe, published on a McCain website, could contain a Rachel Ray recipe for passion fruit mousse is so far a mystery.

This author was able to see the listing of the passion fruit mousse on a cached version of the McCain website, but the link to the recipe was dead. It was located however, on the Huffington Post website.

So just what is in this passion fruit mousse? Here are the ingredients:

1 ¼ cups passion fruit puree

1 ¼ cups orange juice

¾ cup sugar

Scant 1 tablespoon gelatin dissolved in two tablespoons water

3 cups heavy cream whipped

2 Finger Bananas

Coarse sugar

1 Kiwi peeled cut in half and sliced

It is not uncommon for famous and rich people to have others do their writing for them. The question that is frequently being raised by the books and recipes is whether the authors even read them.

By all accounts Cindy McCain is a very kind woman. She is both wealthy and blonde. Cindy McCain may have just completed the ultimate blonde mistake by allowing her Cindy McCain family recipes to contain one that actually belongs to Rachel Ray, of the Food Network.

Both Cindy McCain and Rachel Ray must enjoy eating passion fruit mousse. Personally, I never tried it and prefer some barbeque brisket.

A recent article on Associated Content included a predication about how long John McCain would live. Now that we know he eats passion fruit mousse the prediction may have to be increased as it sounds very healthy.

The real question of whether the McCain's are honest or if they are just old fashioned recipe stealers may only be answered by the voters. The blame so far seems to center around a mysterious intern staffer. Those darn interns and staffers are always messing things up. I am not referring to Monica Lewinsky's Blue dress either.

I am casting my recipe vote for Rachel Ray. Cindy is both too skinny and too blonde to have a recipe of such tasty vittles.
