Here is a Perfect example of why I avoid assignments like the plague. Always have - likely always will. Ask me to write a poem and I will create something of varying quality. Give the poem rules and it falls apart. Still, here is an attempt at a cinquain.
Cinquain:
No force,
the strength of stone,
no force equal to love,
not the passion of spring showers,
keeps me..

Post a Commenthonestly-speaking; mine were slightly off in lines 1 (for both cinqauins I attempted) today. OH well...next time, I will do it right (Lord willing and ink not spilling)
well-done ( I would perhaps recall that the first line has on word only, but comprised of two syllables). Very thought-provoking piece. Shalom from Deonils
