These lenses were invented in South Korea and have been used by many Asian celebrities. Circle lenses aren't as well known or popular in the Western world, especially the United States, because they're technically illegal and are not sold on sites like 1-800-Contacts nor can they be ordered through your eye doctor. I've known about these contact lenses for years but because they were not sold through conventional means I was hesitant to try them. I finally caved and decided to try a pair out for myself after months of research and reading customer reviews. I found a legit seller, the only way to get your hands on them, through MakeUpGeek's forum and ordered a pair from their Geo Angel series in the color violet. The diameter was smaller than what my prescription called for but I was still willing to try it.
I've had my pair for several months now so I can safely break down the pros and cons of Circle Contact lenses. Lets start with the Pros. I got my pair for $15, $20 with shipping and handling fees. Now, my eyes are the same prescription but no need to worry, even if your eyes are different you won't get charge for individual ones like you would with conventional contact lenses, at least not through my seller, Cakdel's Rejects. I like that each lens comes in it's own glass vile with a safety seal, which is probably why they don't charge for individual lenses. Now each order comes with a paper to help you authenticate that your Circle lenses are the real thing and not a knock off. They are soft contacts and they should be treated the way any soft contact lenses should be treated, there's nothing extra special that needs to be done. The Circle lens comes in many styles and colors to choose from, some look more natural than others but people will definitely notice your eyes with these lenses. I was surprised at how comfortable the lenses were. They were easy to put in and take out and didn't irritate my eyes at all. Despite the diameter being smaller than what my prescription called for that didn't effect the fit the least bit. The best part is that these lenses last up to a year but even so I would recommend changing it every six months just to be on the safe side.
As I mentioned before, I ordered mine through Cakdel's Rejects but there are many other sellers out there, some sell them for a little more and some might even sell it for less but it's important to do the research. I thought the customer service was excellent, my seller was quick to answer any questions I had and I received my order much sooner than I had expected considering it was coming from the factory in South Korea. Just to clarify, most sellers are in America but they have to order their batches through the manufacturer and the lenses are then shipped to the seller and the seller then packages them and mails the lenses out to their customers.
Now for the cons of Circle lenses. These lenses come in a limited diameter range, usually 14.0 mm or 14.2 mm but I've only ever seen them in 14.0 mm. As I explained before, because they have to be ordered through a seller and the seller has to order them through a manufacturer it does take a couple of weeks to receive your lenses, depending on the seller.
Overall I think Circle lenses are perfectly safe to use and they're definitely affordable, especially if you have different prescription for each eye. I highly recommend giving Circle lenses a try if you've ever been curious about colored lenses. I'd also recommend my seller as well.

Post a CommentI love Geo lenses. I can have different eyes color everyday, even when I am at work. Recently got more from www.thealluringeyes.com.
Hi Bjorie,
I got them from Cakdel's Rejects. Here's the link: http://cakdel.com/
Looks like she's in the process of remodeling her website but is still taking orders. :)
I totally understand your fear. I can't believe there are knockoffs when these lenses are so cheap as it is. The real ones come with a serial number now, if that helps.
Hi, I'd love circle contacts;
but tried to look up where you bought them and had no luck.
Could you post a link?
I want some, but fear getting cheap knockoffs like another article said someone accidentally bought.
