"CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE" Lights Up the Broward Center for the Performing Arts December 27 – January 1, 2012
It's hard to believe the 2011 Holiday season is just around the corner. This year Cirque Dreams Holidaze is lighting up the stage of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts December 27 - January 1, 2012. If you are a fan of Cirque Due Soliel this is definately a show for you. Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, (creator of the Broadway hit Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy) Holidaze brings the best of the season center stage.
Cirque Dreams, an American theatrical production company, brings to Fort Lauderdale 8 holiday performances presented by Broadway Across America. Goldberg has created his own holiday wonderland that includes an international cast of over 30 incredibly talented a festive artists who come to life as gingerbread men flipping mid air, toy soldiers marching on wires, icemen, snowmen, penguins, puppets dancing and reindeer soaring high above. Set to an original musical score and seasonal favorites holiday dreams are filled with gigantic gifts, 30-foot towering soldiers, and huge candy canes. Santa couldn't have planned a better celebration.
Since 1993, the Cirque Dreams brand has entertained more than 50 million people worldwide under the artistic direction of Goldberg. They have performed in such venues as theaters, theme parks, casinos and on Broadway. Performances of CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE at the BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS will be held Tuesday, December 27 through Sunday, January 1st, 2012. Performances are Tuesday through Friday evenings at 8:00pm and Saturday evening at 7:00pm. Matinee performances are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm. A Military discount of $10 off all performances is available in person at the venue box office through November 4th for all Active Duty, Reserve and Guard personnel with military ID.
