I was in need of a good router that would easily connect my peripheral devices and was so happy when I was given the Cisco Wireless Valet Router as a gift. It is white with a light sky blue trim and sits right on my desk next to my main computer. The router is light weight, small in diameter so it can fit in small spaces, and has a modern streamlined appearance.
The Valet Router is made by Cisco and the company makes a variety of innovative, technologically advanced products for people of all ages.
This router is a breeze to set up, because it comes with an easy setup key that plugs into a USB port on a computer. It basically takes three steps, five minutes to set up, and the router is then ready to use.
I have a standard desktop computer that I wanted to connect to my laptop in order to share access to the internet on both devices simultaneously and I discovered that that the set-up was easy, fast, and with the Valet Router, both computers are connected to each other through the router and can access the internet fantastically. I like the fact that if my desktop computer is off, as long as the router is on, my laptop computer can still connect to the internet without any problems.
I like that the Cisco Wireless Valet Router allows me to connect both of my computers to each other and share one internet connection in any room of my home, because the wireless capability of the router is far reaching and strong. I am also able to share files from my laptop to my desktop computer and send files to my printer via the router. You can also connect a blu-ray disc player to the router and enjoy music, videos, and more. If you enjoy playing games, you can connect a game console to the Valet router and you will then be able to access online games or other entertainment content.
The Cisco Wireless Valet Router has a speed range of 300 Mbps, a fast Ethernet 4 port switch, the ability to instantly add all of your wireless devices in a matter of minutes, parental controls to keep your children secure online, high quality Cisco security-integrated firewall protection, a separate network for guests, a USB Key, 24/7 phone support, and a full one year warranty.
If I could rate this router on a scale of one to five, I would give it a five. It is fast, easy to set up, installs quickly, has strong wireless signal strength, and works great.
I am very pleased with the functionality and performance of the Cisco Valet Router and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a high quality wireless router that is stylish, efficient, and economical.
Plug it in, connect, and enjoy!
