My experience with water-proof watches has not been very good. The last one that said it was water-proof, died an early dead in the shower. Not to mention the stories of other watches that also had similar fates. That is why I wanted to be certain with the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch. It also had to be electronic, and not battery-operated.
The Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch is water-proof, electronic and keeps very good time. It has a good display, a stop watch, which I like to use to count my athletic abilities, an alarm, very important for me, and is good to look at. Also, the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch is very light and comfortable to wear. I don't like heavy watches. If you are looking for something heavier you may choose the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch with the stainless steel body, however, I choose the platinum one, because of the light weight.
However, the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch is not a watch for divers. If you are looking for a divers watch, please look for something else. This watch has been advertised as a pilot's watch. It has special features, like the different time zones, that are easily displayed on the LCD screen.
I have had the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch for some time now, and I am extremely happy with its performance, from the point that it keeps a very accurate time.
Citizen assures you that you will never have problems with the batteries of the watch, as the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch works with solar batteries, and the face of the watch is a solar charger. It is indeed a very clever way of manufacturing such watches, and it minimizes the maintenance of the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch, and it gives it a longer life. I have always found that watches with regular batteries don't last for that long. Maybe I am wrong, but I prefer the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch to any other battery run watch.
I love to complain about watches, and why should I stop with the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch. Although it is wonderful piece of equipment, it would be easier if the features were easier to follow, and you did not have to read the whole manual before making any changes, the alarm could be louder, and maybe it would be helpful, if you could change the lighting system.
In conclusion, you can never be 100% satisfied with what you have. But so far, I have found that the Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR 3090 58J Wrist Watch has been a good investment for me.
