Brooklyn, NY 11205
United States of America
Fort Greene's Urban Assembly Academy of Arts and Letters needs volunteers to become Citizen Teachers for their middle school students. The program allows members of the community to give back and teach children what you know.

There are many talented individuals in Fort Greene and that's what makes the community so great. It would be great if more residents would share their knowledge with children and teach them skills that are applicable for the real world.

The program is run by Citizen Schools and all volunteers must be able to commit to the program for thirteen weeks. According to Citizen Schools, all training is provided and a Citizen Schools educator is there to help you every step of the way. For more information on how to apply for the program, visit Citizen Schools' website.
