When citrine is deep gold, usually found from Madiera, Spain, it resembles the more costly topaz stone. Because of this similarity, citrine is a well regarded as a birthstone alternative to November babies.
Citrine has powers over the mind, cash flow, and healing abilities.
In terms of mind, citrine has been known in history as "stone of the mind." According to ancient cultures, if the elder placed a citrine stone on his forehead, his psychic powers would increase, and he would have an augmented insight.
For money, the "merchant's stone" has been a lucky charm for merchants of all varieties for years. Placing a piece of citrine in the cash drawer is said to bring luck, of course manifesting as extra cash flow, to said merchant.
As for the healing aspects of citrine, there are quite a few, so it is a very useful stone. Mentally, the stone can increase self confidence, protect against the malignant energies from someone abusing you, opens your mind to new thoughts, insights, and perceptions, and promotes an adept mind by clarifying thought. If you feel your psychic potential is high, but you cannot control or utilize it, citrine is a great focal point for your meditations to develop these powers.
Physically, citrine can help with the digestion system (by alleviating constipation and diabetes) and endocrine system. Poisons that have built up cannot stand a chance against the power of a citrine stone, as it will help your body eliminate these deadly or fatiguing toxins. Distressing conditions will be calmed from citrine. It often helps with depression, and can give joy, love, and luck to the owner.
Unless you place a piece in a cash drawer, citrine is best carried around to feel the full effects of its power. While attempting to heal with this stone, place it over the sore spot, or wherever you are healing if not for pain, and concentrate on the vibrations of citrine. You will find its soothing resonation a purifying force to your body, as it shakes from you all the deadly poisons, the bitterness of the mind, and will raise you up to the person you should be.
