Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover Product Review

Kassidy Emmerson

Recently, one of our older, female house cats lost her mind. She backed up to a window in my living and sprayed the drapes. I say she "lost her mind" because she's never done this before. And, of course, Cat knows pottying outside the litter box is a major no-no. Someone recommended cleaning the drapes, then spraying them with vinegar to stop further occurrences. That did not work. Someone else recommended a spray that an online pet supply company sells. It's an all-natural product that contains herbs. One bottle would cost around $15.00 including shipping and handling. Too costly. Read this Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover product review to find out if the remedy I chose worked.

Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover Price and Availability
I found this product at Wal-Mart. The price was around $4.00 for a 22 fluid-ounce bottle. You can also order it online. Amazon.com carries it.

Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover Warnings
According to the bottle, keep it out of the reach of children. Also, it's "safe on most washable surfaces. However, on carpets or painted surfaces, test a small inconspicuous surface area initially. In case of eye contact, flush with copious amounts of water. If irritation persists, contact physician."

The Results
I used Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover according to the bottle directions. All you do is spray the stain, then wait a minute for the product to soak in. You can lightly brush the fibers or rub it with a towel. Finally, you blot the stain with a dry terry-cloth towel. Repeat the process, if needed.

Did it work? First, there are household members who don't like the strong smell of citrus you find in cleaning products. I can't smell anything when I use Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover. No one else notices a smell, so that's a plus. I cleaned the drapes in the washing machine. I then applied the product and wiped the curtains off per the directions. The next time the cat came wandering through the living room, she obviously smelled the Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover. Because, Cat stopped, gave the drapes a funny look, then walked a big circle around them. She wouldn't go near the drapes for more than a week afterward. Unfortunately, the smell must have faded after 10-14 days as I saw her spray the drapes again. This time, I didn't machine-wash the drapes. I just applied Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover. When the smell faded, I saw Cat sniffing the drapes so I grabbed the Citrus Magic Natural Pet Stain Remover again. After 4 - 5 applications, Cat finally stopped spraying the drapes. So, I'm pleased with this product.

Thanks for the info. I like other Citrus Magic products, the air fresheners last so long. (If you like citrus!)
