City of Wonder is a MMO game that allows players to build a civilization that begins from the early stages humanity to the industrial age. Not only do the players learn about technologies that occurred around the different ages, they interact with historical figures.

A player begins with a few huts and learns the game play with a tutorial. The gamer must add crops, buildings, roads, and entertainment so their population continues to grow and thrive. Keeping the population happy requires money to buy such things as decorations or buildings found in the culture tab, if the population gets sad they will begin to leave the game.

As a player increases the population within their civilization technologies, buildings and other items are unlocked. There is always an advisor to help determine which technology is best to begin researching. The time and money required to unlock technologies vary by levels in the game.

It's best to gain many allies early in the game if you plan to attack other civilizations but having many allies allows the player to get extra money freely with in the game. For example if you visit one of your allies, you get 500 coins per day. If you have 20 allies, you get extra 10,000 coins, which will certainly, come in handy to purchase buildings or plant the crops.

Players interact with each other in the game, either as allies or enemies by visiting other civilizations. A player can trade goods, learn the culture, or attack another civilization in the game. All of these actions will either gain experience points of money to aid the player. One word of caution when you go to explore other civilizations, its important to listen to the advisor that appears on your screen they can give a player valuable insight as to which type of interaction is best.

Legends in the City of Wonder game will help a player do different things, such as increase the population, cut research time or increase attack strength when attacking rival civilizations. Legends can be earned by playing the game or can be given as gifts.
