Clarkco State Park, located at 386 Clarkco Road, Quitman, Mississippi, is 815 acres in an area close to the Mississippi-Alabama state line. Here there are 43 full hookup RV sites as well as cabins and an area for primitive camping. This is a good location to use for a home base if you are visiting or working in the area, such as at the Naheola Mill Plant in the Pennington, Alabama area.

Clarkco State Park has many things to offer its guests. Here guests will find beach access as well as a boat launch ramp, water skiing and fishing. There is also a tennis court, a bath house, laundry facilities, picnic tables and fire rings, a playground, a playing field, disk golf and ice sales. A convenience store, ranger station, hiking trail, observation tower and a meeting hall are also on the property.

Guests are welcome to bring their pets with them as long as they are kept on a leash that is no longer than 6' in length. If you do bring your pets, be sure to clean up after them and keep in mind that no pets are allowed in any of the buildings on the park property.

Quiet hours for Clarkco State Park are from 10 pm to 6 am and check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 2pm.

Full hookups at Clarkco State Park are $20 - $24 and a maximum of 8 people can stay at the campsite. Full hookups have water, electricity and sewer. No generators are allowed here. Extended stays are welcome, but there is a 90 day maximum extended stay period for the peak season which is March 1 to September 30. During this time if you stay 90 days, then on the 91 day you will either have to move to a 14 day site or leave Clarkco State park for the 14 days. Of course, extensions can be granted to a Rver by the Executive Director if the director deems it necessary or it will not bother anything.

Clarkco State Park, which is located north of Quitman, Mississippi off of U.S 145, is a quiet and peaceful location for your home-away-from-home.
