Class Reunion Coming Up? How to Look 10 Years Younger!

Little Tricks that Take Years Off of Your Appearance

Mrs.Gossett
If you have a reunion in your near future, chances are you are struggling to get back your looks and show up a few people. If you have been letting yourself go, you can get most of that time back in about 2 weeks if you are dedicated. Most of the signs of aging will show up first on your face. You will want to exfoliate with Epsom salts every night until the big day. You can do so by simply applying them to a wet face and massaging (very gently) in a circular motion. Rinse. After this step you will want to soothe and moisturize your face with a wet cloth mask. This will restore moisture and make your skin baby soft. You will need to also start a morning routine of washing your face and then applying lemon juice to clear up any acne and lighten any age spots or discoloration. You can also apply this natural wonder to your hands to get the same results. After a week or two of this routine, you will see amazing results in the appearance of your skin.

Next, you need to think about your hair. It matters not if it is curly, wavy, or straight. The main thing that you are looking for is for it to look kept and in style. If you are rocking' and bad color job, fix it. If you are growing out a shorter cut, consider getting salon hair extensions. They are well worth the cost and will allow you to forget the worry of them falling out in front of your high school crush with the pretty wife. If you have a shorter cut and love it, consider going in to the salon for some formal styling tips. This may help you put a new spin on your current style. If you have long, mousy hair and don't know what to do with it, get a trim and a blow out.

If you are a little heavier than you would like to be, don't be tempted to stay home. First, in the two weeks before the event, do a hour of cardio every single day. This will help you burn fat. Then, do 4 to 5 days a week of weight training and pilates. These moves in combination with cutting out extra sugar and bad carbs will help you lose weight rather quickly. If you still don't feel great about your figure, try Spanx. Shaping undergarments can give you a flatter tummy and slimmer thighs under your dress or jeans. Also, make sure that you are not wearing a bra that is too big or too small. Now is a good time to get measured at a good department store.

This brings us to the clothes. If you are carrying around a little extra baggage, go for black flat fronted dress pants and a dress top with empire waist. You will want to stay away from any pleats or features that draw attention to your middle. You can also try a wrap style dress. These are universally flattering and will make you look streamlined, years younger, and in style. A suit is another good choice if the dress code is more than casual. If you choose dark pieces with a good fit, it will maximize your professional image, and skim your curves.

To look younger, remember that a pulled together look will do wonders for you. Do a course of whitening strips on your teeth and get your eyebrows done. Work with your makeup for a few days before you decide on a look. Mineral makeup reflects light and diffuses the look of fine lines. This will give you a younger look with one easy step. Pedicured feet, and smooth glowing skin will make your whole appearance look younger. In the weeks before your reunion, you can make your skin look years younger by using one of the newer daily tanning lotions. These are hard to mess up, and will cover spider veins and other small imperfections. This step should not be overlooked because it will make you appear as if you just got back from vacation. The night of, use a little bit of shimmer lotion on your legs and collarbone. This will make your skin gleam.

If you follow these steps, you will be the star of your reunion. You friends will tell you that you haven't changed a bit....and they will mean it. Have a great time!
