Classic Fashion Styles for Women

Women have always had a classic style that can be dressed up or down. The must haves in your closet are usually what's classic or timeless. If you don't have these, you will want to get them so you can always have something to wear. The little black dress, a fitting red dress or the perfect black slacks with a colorful shirt, are some of the styles that will always be classic fashion.

The Perfect Dress

My little black dress is satin this year, and yes it's tight fitting. I decided on a shorter length, so it's above the knee and flatters my legs. I love this little black dress because it has a square neckline in the front and in the back, which is in my fashion book as a must have. Last year my little black dress was simple and flared below the hips. No matter what your body style there is always a classic little black dress.

The Red Dress

Yes, I must add the red dress to the top classic styles for women. Most red dresses are intimidating, especially if you are like me and tend to stay away from any style with color. The red dress is a power dress and works well at parties, office events and going out for a night on the town. Keep the lines clean and add simple accessories to your style, so your fashion style stays classic and not too busy.

Black Slacks

I have a hard time finding black slacks that fit me just right, but found some great slacks at Newport News with a flare at the bottom and they are low-rise. I have about five pairs of black slacks in my closet and love them, because they never go out of style. I can wear them any time, any where and they always look classic and fabulous.

Black Pumps

Slip on a pair of black pumps with anything from jeans to lingerie and you will always look great. The shorter you are the higher you can go, I am 5'7" and mine are about 2". Make sure your pumps aren't scuffed and keep them shinny and clean. The sexiest classic style are a woman's black pumps.

The Fitted Jacket

Whether you are looking for a leather jacket or a blazer, the fitted jacket will always be a classic. My jacket of choice this year is a fitted leather jacket with the button bellow the breast line and the same fit all the way to bellow the belly button. This jacket is great for parties, clubs and defiantly a great fashion classic for work. I love the fitted jacket because it helps accentuate your bust and slim your belly, which is always a classic fashion style for women.
