"Brunos Pizza," a cute, small pizza business at the 7/11 plaza in Chester, WV, is the home of affordable, delicious, classic tasting pizza. When I say classic, I am talking about that distinctive taste that another pizza shop called "Dick & Dee 's" had. I do consider their homemade pizza a real classic of the baby boomer owners, Dick and his friendly wife Dee. The yummy sauce was just right, an always fresh selection of toppings, and even reheated pizza was mouth watering. Now Bruno's has replaced that retro taste with its fresh, home made ingredients in its own special way. Bruno's is what I call a real classic tasting pizza, just like the other one.

Also, most people here in the upper Ohio Valley have at least tried this particular pizza shop. More often than not, this simple pizza was chosen as a favorite. The business was booming during those cool, funky seventies. Busy meant fresh pizza, and anyone could watch the food being made from scratch! The place was very busy most days of the week in the summer. People would come from all over the tri-state area because of the low prices, plentiful servings, and wonderful taste. My favorite pizza place was right here in the town in which I lived and I am not the only one who thought this. I would always see other people I knew every time I went to this teen age hang out pizza shoppe.

My husband and I met in 1971, we are still married, and some things, never change, which is our great love of good pizza. When we were in our early years of marriage, we would eat tremendous amounts of this delicious food. Well, needless to say, we both put on what would be weight that we were unhappy to have later! We would drive around a lot drinking beers and eating pizza. It was the "in" thing to do that was cool back in those days.

Anyhow, my husband and I still eat Bruno's awesome pizza these days, reminiscent with the flavors that were so familiar to us that we found in this pizza of today. This is the closest pizza we have found to be most like our old favorite pizza, Dick and Dee's. When we want to bring back youthful memories, we get a tray of delightful Bruno's pizza. Moreover, we have tried many different businesses that sell our favorite food and none even come close to this classic flavor we have come to love.

Just to let you know, Bruno's service is superb as well as the affordable prices. If you live in this area and you want to get your money's worth, be sure to try this shoppe. The employees are eager to please and they are friendly as well. Try some really good Bruno's pizza today. Tell them "soft and saucy" sent ya and maybe they will give me a freebie for telling you how good they truly are or maybe they will let you try it free!
