Cleaning our teeth is a necessary part of most of our lives. It gives us fresh breath, a good feeling in our mouths, and makes us look good when we smile. Many of us clean them every day, while others, well...not so frequently. Cleaning our teeth comes in many ways, four of the more common ones will be discussed here:

Dentist

The dentist is probably the most complete form of teeth cleaning you can get. Whenever you go to the dentist, however frequently you go, the person uses all types of tools to give your teeth a "spring cleaning" that you cannot get with normal home materials. This dentist may also observe if you have any cavities or any other possible problems in regards to your dental health. When you're done with the dentist, it gives you a fresh start for a good time to come.

Toothbrush

Using a toothbrush is probably the most common form of teeth cleaning we do. Every morning, and after every meal, even before sleep many of us brush our teeth. Tooth brushes come in all shapes and sizes and even some tooth brushes are electronic. Just place the tooth paste on a wet and clean toothbrush and you're good to go. When you're finished, you're ready to start the day.

Flossing

Flossing is another thing that is common with cleaning our teeth. Dental floss is basically like a long string (many times coated with mint) wrapped in a coil in which you can use to clean the cracks in your teeth. Many times a normal tooth brush can't reach these places, which is why many people use dental floss as a means to clean them.

Mouthwash

The last most common form of teeth cleaning is mouthwash. Mouthwash is basically something that you gargle and rinse your mouth with (but don't swallow). Due to the special features of most mouthwashes, it has within them germ killing ingredients, and also a means to have fresh breath afterwards. Mouthwash helps provide a cleaning for the gums that many tooth brushes or dental floss were not intended to do.

Those are some of the most common forms of teeth cleaning. There are many others as well, such as special chewing gums, mouth pieces, and so on, but those are the most common. If you're looking to keep your teeth clean it is best to perform all of them frequently.
