Cleansing Product Review: Biore's Pore Perfection Nose Strips

TommiH
Hey everyone! Today we are going to shake things up a bit and do a cleansing review for the Biore Pore Perfect - Deep Cleansing Strips. During this review we are going to talk about the design, cleansing power, and application. Let's get started!

Design:
I am starting off with the design because I was not all that impressed by the design. The wings on these nose strips were very hard to work with and got irritating after awhile. The wings are very long and high. I had a problem with the wings touching my under eyes when I applied the nose strip and I didn't like it because that meant I would have to apply a lot of pressure and pulling to get it off my under eyes. Not only was it painful but it can cause pre-mature wrinkling! Not good. So I would have to say "no" on the design.

Cleansing Power:
Here is where I give Pore Perfect another down side. The cleansing power of these strips was an ultimate fail. Now maybe it would clean your pores if they are extremely plugged up and the dirt and bacteria is sticking out of your pores, but if you are like me and get dirt and bacteria deep under the surface - you will have an issue with cleansing as well. I got some dirt out of my pores but ended up just ripping off those tiny little hairs on the facial area. It was rather disappointing after waiting 15 minutes for the results just to get none worthwhile. I would have to give another thumb down.

Application:
Now here we go; the fun part; getting these suckers on! Application itself is a no-brainer. You just follow the direction located on the strip packet or Biore box. Simply cleanse the area of all makeup and make sure the area is not oily. Wet down your nose with a damp towel, peel the strip from the plastic, and apply it to your nose. Well, while you are applying, make sure to bend the strip the best you can to avoid letting it touch your under eye area or you will be in tears while taking it off. Then wait 10 to 15 minutes and reap the disappointing results.

I would not recommend the Biore Pore Perfect Strips for the nose. To me, they were a big waste of money. But like I said, if you have pores that are clogged to the point of surfacing, these strips might actually do you some good.
