Clear Day - Thread Crochet Bookmark

Phebe A. Durand
Is there really anything worse than picking up a much-loved book only to find a bunch of dog-eared, bent and torn corners on the pages? For me, anyways, it's even worse than when the spine of an over-loved paperback finally gives in ... it wasn't lack of respect for the book that did it.

Beyond that, there's just something special about a bookmark. You look at one, whatever the material it's created from, and you know what it is. I seem to collect bookmarks, and each one of them has a story for me.

This bookmark is made in size 10 crochet thread, and will work up very quickly to create a pretty piece that you'll be proud to use or gift.
