Clear Nail Polish Use # 1- Stop that run!
All of us ladies have experienced an occasional run in the pantyhose. Luckily, my Grandmother taught me a simple trick using - you guessed it; clear nail polish! Simply dab the clear nail polish around the run. Once the nail polish dries, it will prevent the run from running any further; literally stopping it in it's tracks!
Clear Nail Polish Use # 2 - Prevent rust circles in the shower
This is one of my favorite uses for clear nail polish. In part because I hate scrubbing those nearly impossible to clean, perfectly rounded rust circles that garnish my shower. What are they from? My shaving cream! But guess what? If you take just a minute to use clear nail polish around the bottom of the can - you will save yourself all the tedious scrubbing! Yup, all you have to do is coat the bottom rim of the can with clear nail polish. Once it dries, you are worry free of rust stains in the shower!
Clear Nail Polish Use # 3 - Keep eye glass screws in place
Do you wear eye glasses? If you do than you probably know what it feels like to have one of those tiny screws fall out. Well, if this has not happened yet, go grab the clear nail polish pronto! Glaze the top and bottom of the screw. This will help protect the screw from popping out of place. If you already have a screw that pops out of place, than use this trick the next time you find yourself screwing it back in. Rub the clear nail polish over the entire screw and screw it back into place. The clear nail polish will serve as a "glue" keeping that pesky screw in place. Top off the top and bottom of the screw for added precaution.
