Cleveland Browns Quarterback Jake Delhomme: 2010 Season Boy Blunder or "Superman" Winner?

The Cleveland Browns organization has decided to take a chance and make former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme their starting QB for the 2010 season. Jake Delhomme has proved that he is an established winner - and does have the skill and experience to help make the Cleveland Browns a better team than they was in the 2009 season.

The Cleveland Browns only won 5 games in 2009, and their overall team percentages were awful, it is a season that they will remember - but it would be a season they would love to not recall. Bury the past the Browns must do if they are to comprise the possibility of having a winning season in 2010, and much of this responsibility on achieving a winning season will fall for the most part on the shoulders of Jake Delhomme.

The Cleveland Brown 2010 schedule is no cake walk - as they must face 3 teams whose defense are ranked in the top 5, which does not fare well for Jake Delhomme, especially if begins to have a case of interception blunders.

When Jake Delhomme returned from a major injury in 2007, he led the Panthers to a 12-4 season in 2008, but in 2009 Delhomme had one of his worst seasons, and was later benched by Coach John Fox. The Cleveland Browns have a chance to rebound back from a dreadful 2009 season, and if Jake Delhomme does not materialize as "the mild mannered reporter" in the 2010 season - he will be remembered as a "Superman" that found a way to somehow conquer "Kryptonite."
