Cleveland's Music Scene
Cleveland is most known for hosting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Located on the Lake Erie Shore in downtown Cleveland, this museum hosts exhibits that showcase America's rock and roll legends and culture. You can visit the museum everyday from 10:00am until 5:30pm. On Wednesdays, the museum stays open until 9:00pm.
Throughout the year, travelers can stop by the Cleveland House of Blues for local and national bands. Located on Euclid and East 4th Street in downtown Cleveland, this popular concert club is in the hub of the theater district.
Other popular concert clubs located all throughout Cleveland include Peabodys, the Grog Shop, the Beachland Ballroom, the Agora and Time Warner Amphitheater. Throughout the year, you can catch local and national bands at all of the above venues.
Downtown Cleveland Hotels
Whether you are on a budget or want to immerse yourself in absolute luxury, Cleveland has the hotel for you. If you are looking for a nice hotel, but are on a budget the Radisson Hotel Cleveland Gateway or the Marriott Downtown at Key Center are both good options. Both are centrally located too and close to all of the musical attractions in Cleveland. Both are three star hotels with amenities. The Radisson is a smaller hotel and is less expensive than the Marriott. If you are looking for complete luxury, downtown Cleveland has the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland Hotel and the Wyndham Playhouse Square Hotel. If you are in town for a House of Blues show, the Wyndham would be the best choice because it is just around the corner.
Downtown Cleveland Restaurants
When it comes to dining in downtown Cleveland, you literally have a world of options with the dozens of restaurants and just about every type of cuisine you could possibly want. If you are staying at the Radisson, Lola is close-by and you can walk to this restaurant. If you are staying at the Ritz Carlton or Renaissance, you can walk to the Hard Rock Cafe or the Blue Point Grille. If you are staying at the Wyndham or the Marriott, Mallorca or the Great Lakes Brewing Company are just a five minute cab ride away. You could walk to them, but it would be about a 15 minute walk.

I never would have thought of Cleveland as a place of music, but as I read your article, I realized I need to add Cleveland to my list of places to see. Thanks for the info.
