Clevenger Custom Guitars offers a wide array of specialized, hand-crafted Guitars which are perfected to meet the unique personalities of each individual musician.

Constructed from rough-cut exotic Lumber, Clevenger's Custom Guitars allows clients to either pick from previously hand-crafted designs or choose their own custom-made Guitars, fit for the musician's own preference. Clevenger Custom Guitars' personal designs include Enamorada, Estrella, Magica, and Solverana. Owner Bert Clevenger's favorite guitar is one he personally constructed of a Mahogany and Spalted Maple architecture with the Solverana design implemented on the guitar. This particular Guitar included a unique tone embedded within the Guitar, which Clevenger was drawn to. "There must be some magic in this particular piece of wood that gives it a rich and full, but very clear tone," states Clevenger. A, musicians are able to allow input into the look and feel of their individual Guitars. Musicians are asked to bring a personal favorite Guitar, allowing Clevenger to measure string and pickup height, string spacing, and other important factors to contribute to the individual design. Afterwards, Clevenger includes ideas obtained from his wife Debbie to ensure the colors and designs are of top quality. Many musicians are drawn to the unique and individualistic approach Clevenger offers through personally detailing the Guitars. After launching the successful creation and development of Clevenger Custom Guitars with Debbie, Clevenger decided to market and showcase his collection for various musicians and events around the local Hot Springs community.

The business would begin to attract more musicians in October of 2009 as Guitarist/Singer Joe Pitts taped a live studio recording of his track "One More Day" with the first marketed Clevenger Custom Guitar. "He liked so much the one he chose that he went to the studio that very night and recorded the title track," Clevenger proudly reminisces, "He sent me a copy of that track even before the CD was printed. That was a moment I'll always remember." Shortly after, Clevenger Custom Guitars began appearing in various festivals and venues around the local community. Visitors and musicians attending local events, including the 2010 Hot Springs Blues Festival, were taking notice of the unique and personalized approach to Clevenger's hand-crafted guitars. After playing on the Guitar for the first time, many musicians were left amazed and full of positive emotions including Blues Musician/Singer Jarekus Singleton. After playing with a custom-built Clevenger Customer Guitar, Singleton gave high regards personally to Clevenger as he proudly mentioned, "I've never heard a guitar that sounds as good as this one. I really believe this guitar was meant for me." At a recent Christmas party held by the Spa City Blues Society in the Arlington Hotel, Clevenger was fascinated with the sounds demonstrated on his Custom-built Guitars, played by local Rock/Blues act The John Calvin Brewer Band. "For the first time ever, we got to see a band playing two of our instruments at the same time," Clevenger proudly acknowledges, "Several audience members came to me and commented on how good the guitars sounded. I have to give credit to the talent of the musicians. I put the tone in the guitars, they pull it out." This huge publicity helped shape Clevenger Custom Guitars into a very successful business

Since the initial launch of Clevenger Custom Guitars, Clevenger and his wife Debbie have personally hand-crafted and built 150 instruments with each Guitar having a unique contrast from the other. Many magazine and news outlets have endorsed and advertised Clevenger Custom Guitars including Nightflying Magazine and News Station KAIT8 located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
