Do you need several quick gifts for neighbors or teachers and you're out of time? These twelve gift ideas can be bought at the grocery store and put together last minute. Just swing by the grocery store, print off a clever saying on your computer, tie it all up with a ribbon (also available at the grocery store) and you're all set with easy, last minute gifts.

Last Minute Gift Idea #1: "Glad Tide-ings of great Joy." This is one of the more expensive last minute gift ideas from the grocery store. Buy a box of glad trash bags or zipper bags, a small bottle of Tide laundry detergent and a small bottle of Joy dish detergent. Put the items in a cellophane bag, tie up with ribbon, and attach a note saying, "Wishing you GLADTIDE-ings of great JOY this holiday season!"

Last Minute Gift Idea #2: "Pizza on Earth." A frozen pizza is a great last minute gift idea. Many people are too busy doing other holiday activities to think about things like making dinner! Another option is to give a gift card to a pizza restaurant if your grocery store carries them. Attach a note that says, "PIZZA on earth, good MEAL toward men!"

Last Minute Gift Idea #3: "Merry and Sprite." 2-liter bottles of Sprite will make for inexpensive last minute gifts for neighbors. Tie a ribbon around the neck and attaché a note saying, "Have a Merry and SPRITE Christmas!"

Last Minute Gift Idea #4: "Merry and Bright." A four-pack of lightbulbs can be found at the grocery store for 99 cents, and who doesn't need more lightbulbs? Wrap a box up, print a note that reads "May your Holiday be Merry and BRIGHT" and you have an easy, clever, last minute gift for less than a dollar.

Last Minute Gift Idea #5: "White Christmas." Wrap a large bar of fancy white chocolate as a last minute gift. The attached note could say, "I'm dreaming of a WHITE Christmas."

Last Minute Gift Idea #6: "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas." Take a bag of Jolly Ranchers candy, or put a handful into separate bag, or decorative container, and add a note saying "Have a Holly JOLLY Christmas." This will make a great last minute gift for your neighbors or your children's teachers.

Last Minute Gift Idea #7: "Merry Kissmas." Another candy idea is to buy some Hershey's kisses in any flavor and put them in a decorative container with a note that says "Merry KISSmas."

Last Minute Gift Idea #8: "Chex-ing it Twice." A bag of Chex mix is a great last minute gift idea that will be appreciated. Put it in a gift bag, or tie a note to the bag with ribbon. The note could say, "Santa's CHEX-ed his list twice, and you've been good!"

Last Minute Gift Idea #9: "Deck the Halls." Grab some decks of cards from the toy and gift aisle in your grocery store, and you've got some easy, inexpensive last minute gifts. Wrap them up with notes saying, "DECK the halls!" and hand out to your neighbors as holiday gifts.

Last Minute Gift Idea #10: "Not a Creature was Stirring." Get a pack of three wooden spoons for just a few dollars at the grocery store and use them as a last minute gift, or as a last minute gift topper, with the note, "Not a Creature was STIRRING..." Combine with one of the baking mix ideas that follow for a great last minute neighbor gift.

Last Minute Gift Idea #11: "Muffin for Christmas." A box of muffin mix is a wonderful help to anyone with overnight guests for the holidays. Wrap up a box, or tie with a ribbon and let your note read, "You're getting MUFFIN for Christmas!" Attach a tinfoil muffin tin, or combine with Last Minute Gift Idea #10 for an even better gift.

Last Minute Gift Idea #12: "More Dough." Attach a mini cookie cutter and a note that says, "We can all use more DOUGH this time of year!" to a refrigerated package of pre-made cookie dough for a fun and festive last minute gift from the grocery store. Again, combine with Last Minute Gift Idea #10 for an extra special gift.
