Gifts from Santa
Once the children are tucked into their beds and sound asleep on Christmas Eve, Santa arrives to place Christmas presents under your Christmas tree. One fun and clever way to place Santa's Christmas presents under the tree is by using a Santa gift bag. Place a gift bag filled with Christmas gifts from Santa under the tree allowing a few presents to spill out. Kids will be delighted to see Santa's gift bag full of presents awaiting them on Christmas morning.
Wrapping Paper Selection
There are many different Christmas wrapping paper selections filling store shelves which you can choose from. When selecting Christmas wrapping paper to wrap your gifts with buy several different designs. Wrap each Christmas gift using a different design for each different person. This way on Christmas morning when its time to hand out your Christmas gifts it will be easier for everyone to find their own gifts from under the Christmas tree. You can choose coordinating wrapping papers matching them up by color or subject, such as all red wrapping paper or all snowman themed wrapping paper.
Some Assembly Required
All of the Christmas presents have been unwrapped and now you find yourself sitting for hours assembling some of the gifts for your children to play with. Kids may grow impatient as they wait for you to put together their Christmas gifts. In order to save yourself some time on Christmas morning, try assembling some or all of the Christmas gifts that require assembly the night before instead of wrapping them in their packaging. To "wrap" these gifts use a blanket to hide the gift under or simply place a large bow on the Christmas gift along with a gift tag.
Christmas Scavenger Hunt
Make receiving Christmas gifts fun by sending your gift recipient on a scavenger hunt. This idea would be perfect for items such as bicycles or power tools. Wrap a small gift box that contains the first clue and place it under the Christmas tree. Place the item in a place where it will be stored or used, such as a stand mixer in the kitchen or a cordless screwdriver on a tool bench. This can be a great way to make opening Christmas gifts last a little longer. Another way to host a Christmas Scavenger Hunt is to place just one Christmas gift under the tree for each person. Write out a clue about the location of the next present on the gift tag of each present. Once the gift recipient has found their next gift they will be met with another clue to help them find their next Christmas gift. The person will participate in the Christmas Scavenger Hunt until all of their presents are found.
Stackable Christmas Presents
Make one big Christmas present for each person by stacking their gifts and tying them together with ribbon and topping with a bow. This is a great way to separate gifts for each person, taking the trouble out of trying to find their Christmas gifts. Depending on the size of the stack the gifts may have to go around the Christmas tree rather than under it. Make sure to keep Christmas presents from Santa separate from the gift stacks. The Christmas gifts from Santa can be placed under the Christmas tree hiding behind the stacks of gifts.
All of these ideas are great for changing up the traditional jumble of wrapped Christmas gifts sitting under the tree. So bring a little creativity into your home on Christmas morning by trying out one of these clever ideas for displaying Christmas gifts under your tree.
