Click, Click, Click...Yes, I'm a Stumble-A-Haulic and I Know It!
Sometimes when I Dream, I Click the "I like It!" Button and Move to the Next Dream
-1 hour later-
"You've gotta be kidding me??? It's this late??"
For all of you Stumble-A-Haulics out there, you know exactly what I mean. Whether it is something inherent in our system or not, we've caught the stumble sickness and can't find the cure..or more likely, we don't want to find the cure. Thanks to StumbleUpon, we now have unlimited access to trillions of pieces of new information - all at the click of a little button. Where else can you go that will take you on an exotic adventure of laughs and thrills, oohs and ahhs? Just think, the undiscovered magnitude of the internet all behind the button, the one and only button, the best button.
The art of stumbling has taken internet exploration to the next level. We've moved on from typing search queries in Google. Pssh, who needs to type anymore when you have "the button"? Now we can stumble to never ending compilations of mindless flash games, humorous YouTube videos, bizarre pictures and the like. The internet must be conquered, and StumbleUpon is the first step.
So maybe the sickness isn't that consuming, but I would measure to guess I've just spoken to a few people (and possibly myself). Why does StumbleUpon have to be so much fun? To me, it is the thrill of finding some new piece of information that will make me think, laugh, or tilt my head and say "sweet". Whatever the case may be, it is evident that over 9 million people have caught the bug of clicking. I think someone needs to devise a 12-step program. Stumble Anonymous possibly?
If you've caught the bug, remember that the real world still loves you and wants to interact with you. In fact, it wants you to tell of all the cool things you found while venturing through StumbleUpon.
Now just one more click before I leave....
Regards,
Your Fellow Stumble-A-Haulic

Post a CommentIt's starts to worry me seeing as it doesn't tell me how many stumbles I've made. It just says 100K, I wonder if it's capped now or if will tell me when I get to a million.
I just checked my stats and it tells me I've clicked that stumble button 23700 times.... hmmmmmm. Hi, my name is John and I'm addicted to stumbling
You mean "Stumble-a-holic"
Lol if only that were possible..life would be almost complete.
I also sometimes try to ctrl+z things in real life.
Nicely done, Thomas! I'm still trying to figure out the benefit of StumbleUpon, but I've been stumbling my way through a few sites here and there.
Stumble Upon is definitely a cool site. You are so right.
I'm with Marilisa, I thought its funny. I discovered Stumble Upon on a couple of other websites that I write for and clicked and and signed about about 1&1/2 years ago...before that Digg It and Redit...there great resources where you can just sumbit your articles on a link to the site and never have to post or publish them yourself. The link does it all. Isn't technology great!
That's funny! I'm always looking for the Retweet button on Facebook!
Cute, I haven't caught the bug yet, but I do stumble on occasion :)
