Clinique Facial Soap- Complete Cleanliness in One Bar

A friend recommended that I try out Clinique's facial care since I had acne-prone, combination skin. When I went to the Clinique counter at my nearby department store I found that this actually came as past Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care System, and was the first step. I had tried all sorts of cleansers supposedly directed to treating acne and blemishes, but all have failed me so I decided to give Clinique a try.

The description of this soap claims that it is dermatologist-developed to maintain protective lipids and loosens surface flakes. It will leave skin "clean, comfortable, refreshed - never taut or dry". With every use, my skin always feels squeaky clean, and this eliminates the step of me having to remove my makeup because it does an excellent job of doing so! This does not leave my skin dry at all which is a big plus with combination skin. In a week, my acne had cleared and in about a month my blemishes have started to fade. I have been using this continuously and my skin has only seen improvements and nothing less. Although it is recommend to use this with the step program, I actually only use it with the clarifying lotion (toner) and together thy work powerfully against any breakouts.

This soap bar is available in 3 skin-typed formulas: Extra Mild (Very Dry skin types), Mild (Normal to Dry skin types), and Oily (Normal to Oily skin types). I got this is "Oily", This also comes in a foam type container, but I have tried that and this bar form lasts much longer and is way more effective. It has been 3 months now and the soap bar is still only half used and I was my face with it daily! This retails for $11 a bar or $12 if you want the convenient cover case included with it, and can be purchased at major department stores such as Macy's and Nordstrom, and also online. It may seem a bit pricey just for a bar of soap, but it's not "just a bar of soap"; it's a wonder make for your face! It's worth every penny you spend on it and more.
