Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine: Fabulous Looking Lips Without the Side Effects

Gwendolyn Taylor
Women these days are trying all sorts of products that will make their lips look "fuller", "more voluptuous", or "sexier". Yet, a lot of these products carry foreign synthetic ingredients that leave an foul aftertaste or uncomfortable lingering effects on your lips. Your lips and surrounding skin area can be really sensitive to these ingredients and can develop a negative reaction making you look worse. Thankfully, "Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine" by Clinique is not the case. It's just a normal lip gloss that will give the appearance of fuller lips without actually doing anything to your lips.

This lip gloss features the following sumptuous shades: Double Plum (a limited edition deep mauve color), Glamour-full (a deep nude color), Blackberry Bloom (a deep plum color), Braisin (a tawny mauve color), Cream Soda (a dark coral color), Voluptuous Violet (a dark pink plum color), Mimosa Blossom (a light pink coral color), Sugarplump (a bright pink mauve color), Play-full Plump (a light baby pink color), Pure Plump (a sheer translucent color), Cherry Bomb (a bright magenta red color), and Luscious Lilac ( a sheer prink mauve color). All of these shades have subtle shimmer for added alluring effect.

I would have to say that my most favorite shade is "Glamour-full". I have always been a fan of nude lip gloss shade, just because they are more versatile and "color safe" , and this shade just has the right touch of shimmer to it that make the everyday wear feel a bit more fun. The lasting power is remarkable. These do make your lips look fuller and more appealing, but in a more subtle and natural way. If you are looking for the huge, almost "fish lips" look, than apologies in advance, but this product is not for you. This will make your lips look more enhanced, but in a decent and refined way.

This usually retails for $17.50 a tube. It is a bit on the pricey end, but it fits right in with all of the other well-known cosmetic brands. Clinique products can be purchased at department stores, specialty beauty stores, and on their online website.
