Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder promises to visibly reduce redness on contact and calm skin with conditions like Rosacea or reactive redness, so I was eager to try it. Excited about this new product, I decided to test Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder to see if it would work for me.
Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder Calms Redness
I purchased Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder and applied the product to my freshly washed face. First I brushed some Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder along the creases of my nose where I experience the most redness, and then I carefully applied the powder to the end of my nose where I have some tiny broken capillaries. I then whisked some Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder along my cheeks, where I sometimes also experience red skin. Finally, I covered the rest of my face with a dusting of Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder.
I was very happy with the way the broken capillaries seemed to disappear on my nose on contact with Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder. However, the more visible redness along the creases of my nose did not disappear when I used Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder. The application of Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder felt soothing and I liked its smooth, finely milled consistency; however, the redness along my nose was still visible underneath the powder. I even went back and applied a thicker coating of Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder to the creases of my nose (using my finger this time and not the applicator brush) but I could still see redness peeking through the powder.
On the plus side, Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder is a loose powder that comes in an easy to use container with a high quality application brush. I sometimes have allergies, so I really appreciate that Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder is 100 percent fragrance free and allergy tested.
Ads for Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder claim that this product disappears into the skin on contact. This product has white-yellow color, and in my experience, it didn't really disappear into the skin, and it made my face look very pale. Since I have a fair, porcelain complexion, this isn't too much of a problem for me, but on darker skin tones, Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder could appear too light on the skin.
After a few hours of wearing Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder, my tiny broken capillaries were still covered, but the more visible redness along my nose was still there. Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder may have calmed my skin a bit on contact, but it didn't really calm or cover my more noticeable redness. I also found that Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder felt a little chalky and caked up around my nose a little as the day wore on.
I would recommend Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder for those looking for a quick fix for some minor facial redness; however if you're looking to cover a more serious problem like severe reactive redness or Rosacea, I think you'd be better off exploring other products.
Where to Buy Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder
Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder is available at makeup counters at fine department stores, and you can purchase Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder directly from clinique.com. You can also find Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder at online beauty retailers like Sephora.com. According to the ads for Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder, the product's suggested retail price is $32.50 for 0.84 oz.
If you're looking for a quick solution for some minor redness, try Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder; however, in my experience, this product did not live up to its claims of calming more visible redness.
