As it stands neither Obama or Clinton can win the nomination outright. Both will come up short of the 2,024 delegates needed for a clear nomination. This process will likely be decided by the Super Delegates. CNN estimates currently place Obama at 1,625 delegates while Clinton follows close behind at 1,486.
Declaring charges that his campaign is trying to stop the vote, Barack Obama said the idea was "Completely Laughable". He further stated she should stay in the race as long as she so desires.
Regardless Clinton has seen pressure from many directions to quit for the good of the party.
Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi indicated that this isn't over yet. With the remaining elections still up for grabs she said,"Sen. Clinton may well be going to the convention as the nominee".
Pennsylvania is the next contest, April 22 will decide who takes that state. As per CNN "Poll of Polls" Clinton is favored with 52% with Obama trailing at 38%. Leaving 10% undecided at this point.
The National poll places Obama at 46% and Clinton at 42% and 12% undecided. Pelosi has stated that it would be harmful to the party if the Super Delegates voted to over rule the popular vote. She continued saying that they have the right to vote their belief, as to who they feel would make the better President.
However you want to look at the situation, Hillary Clinton has made it clear. She intends to stay in the battle right to the end. How else would you want a Serious Contender to act, she's a fighter that isn't going to back down.
All in all good characteristics for a President.

Post a CommentI do not normally read articles like this about Clinton. Just wanted to comment: I scrolled a bit down your list of subjects. I took a auto mechanics course (by mail) many years ago. I did my own car repairs~the ones I could physically handle~and no longer own a car. Subject: not interested. Good subject: yes. Do not own a home. Not interested in product reviews. I do not say that to be offensive. Great titles. Just to me, more like '100 Craft Projects Built from empty 2 liter Bottles' stuff that is old news for me. When I wrote for AC I did do some product reviews. By the end of the year I made the dubious Top 1000 list. That surprised me. I would assume I was 999. I did not get any single article with huge page views or the other criteria they use to judge.
I would have wanted a lying, corrupt individual to come to her senses and drop out of the race gracefully when she ran out of money. In her "creating enough doubt" about Obama smear campaign tactics she has convinced people her lies are true and they now hate a man~not based on anything he did or did not do~based on outright lies. I am not a Democrat or Republican. I do not want war in Iran with Clinton or McCain. Because her followers now hate Obama and people who do not want Bill back in DC for a proxy 3rd term, the young that do not want a Bush/Clinton dynasty will not vote for her. She has just about handed McCain a win in November, no matter who gets the Democrat bid. If she carried about the country as she claims, rather than her crazed and self absorbed lust for power, she would act like a lady, not a fictional prize fighter. It is a game to her and tragedy to me.
