Clinton Township Hosts 2nd Annual "Rock-4-Tots"

The 2nd Annual "Rock-4-Tots" Musical Event will take place on Sunday, December 6th at the Dawghouse on Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township, from 1pm til midnight featuring several musicians performing acoustic sets with each including a holiday song.

"Rock-4-Tots" is a musical event created by Jim Klapp (Dawghouse owner), Mike Raffin (Mia Photography) and Margie Anders (Maxim, Blender and THE WEEK magazines) along with some special friends, including WRIF's own Screamin Scott as the annual MC.

The event raises new unwrapped toys for needy families in the area with 100% of this years proceeds supporting the Goodfellows "No Child Without a Christmas" yearly mission.

Entry for "Rock-4-Tots" is a new unwrapped toy or a $5 cash donation at the door. There will be silent auction, raffles, and a visit from Santa.

The event will feature a number of local bands including performances by Lies Unknown, Stellar Drive, Jocaine, Dismantle.

The Clinton Township Goodfellows organization originated in the early 1950's originally servicing 25 families. Over the years the Goodfellows have grown to 613 families, which included 1,637 children last year alone.
