Closer2Nature: New Attachment Parenting, Natural Living Community

Closer 2 Nature is dedicated to attachment parenting and natural family living. It features a directory of parenting articles about babywearing, natural childbirth and homebirth, breastfeeding, cosleeping, gentle discipline, and homeschooling. Also listed are articles about green living, healthy eating, herbal remedies, and more. There is a forum for the discussion of these topics as well as for writing at Associated Content and Suite 101, for the website was created mainly to promote articles and increase page views for online writers.

At Closer 2 Nature, we advocate for midwifery and homebirth, breastfeeding, babywearing, cosleeping, homeschooling, cloth diapering, and gentle discipline. We even support unassisted childbirth, tandem nursing and extended breastfeeding, unschooling, family cloth, and more. We believe that little boys should be left intact, that babies shouldn't be left to cry it out, and that parents should really think before vaccinating.

We are also in favor of eating well, consuming health food, organic products, reading labels, and liming exposure to additives in food. We believe in living green so to have minimal negative impact on the environment, which means recycling and conserving. We support self-treating whenever possible with home remedies, herbal supplements, and other tried and true natural treatment techniques.

In the forums, you can discuss all of these topics and more. There is also an entire section dedicated to writing for Associated Content and Suite 101 for those whose niche is natural living and attachment parenting. We share our work, set weekly goals, and discuss methods of promotion. We also have some off-topic banter and friendly debate of news, politics, and religion. Soon, we'll be adding games, a shop, and other nifty features.
