Clothes + Lipstick-Studying = Star Trek?

Off to the carnival with the kids for a day
I found a place to sit while they went to play
Maybe it's the heat, or maybe dementia,
I think I'm in the middle of a Star Trek convention.

The first Star Trek members just walked through
Their clothes tell me they're from planet Blue
The shirt and the pants fit like their skin
I'm studying, but don't know how they got in.

Their lipstick reflects the blue in the hair
Eyeliner in place of their missing eyebrows
Studying their walk soon leads me to know
Those blue stiletto boots might have to go.

The second contestants in the Star Trek race
Wearing lipstick so red, it lights up their face.
Their clothes and shoes are black and white striped
They must be from zebrally guess they are Zebrites.

The Zebrites have red hair, pulled over to one side
With red eyeliner, they drew a rose over the eye.
They're not studying me, so I sit and stare.
Can't imagine wearing clothes like this anywhere

Two more members of the Star Trek cast
They are boys (I think) but I won't ask.
From bottom to top, their clothes are black
With chains and whips and jewels and tacks

They're wearing lipstick, and it's black too
They have no eyebrows, but eyeliner will do.
Studying them tells me they're from planet Puff
You can beam them up, Scotty, I've seen enough.
