Cloudy and Rainy Days

We all like the sun. Sunny days are so beautiful. Sadly, we do not control the weather and sometimes it might rain a lot where we live. During these raining days we cannot go out and spend the day by the pool. But there are still things that we can do.

1. Rent a couple of movies: During cloudy or raining days, scary movies are the best ones to watch. If you are the romantic type, you can also rent movies such as Nights in Rodanthe, with Diane Lane and Richard Gere.

2. Make a dessert: During a rainy day, take your time and prepare that dessert you have not prepare in a long time. The following day, take some to work and share with your coworkers at coffee time. You can also try a new recipe from Martha Stewart's website and have fun in the kitchen with your partner.

3. Take photos: If you like to take original photos, put a raincoat, grab your camera and start taking those photos. Take photos of the sky or take a photo of your favorite place. Then go home and print them. After wards you can put these photos in beautiful picture frames and hang them up in a special wall. In this way, when you have people over, they can see how much talent you have.

4. Read: Constantly, we complain about not having time to read. While the rain falls, we can finish reading that book that we started reading in the subway. We can enjoy it, while we drink a cup of tea. Definitely the ending will be more clear to us, if we get to it in the tranquility of our apartment or home. Isabel Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marques have published great books.

Remember, there is no reason to get upset or be disappointed when it rains. Just enjoy the day!
