Clover and Greenery Take Over Las Vegas for St. Patrick's Day
Vegas Floods the Streets Ready for St. Paddy's Fun in the Height of Green Fashion
Las Vegas, NV 89149
United States of America
When the nights roll in, the nightlife takes over, and Las Vegas pubs start the St. Patrick's Day celebration, including green beer, Irish music and St. Patrick's Day themed parties and food. Since St. Patrick's Day is in the middle of the week, green Irish-themed festivities will be going on Wednesday through Sunday at many of the local pubs and bars.
At Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas, a beer house just off-strip, the menu will be specially geared toward Irish fare to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Hofbrauhaus is a raucus place, with joyous drunken cries accompanying a traditional-style band playing tunes that will echo from your ears long after you leave the halls of Hofbrauhaus. Slews of green visitors will be saturating Hofbrauhaus to enjoy the beer and traditional food and music. Hofbrauhaus is famous for beer glasses bigger than your head, so make sure you have a designated driver nearby to make sure you get your party home safely.
For visitors to Las Vegas who are looking for some greenery in the form of floral displays on St. Patrick's Day should stop by the Bellagio botanical gardens. The gardens are free and offer a breathtaking spectacle that is family-friendly and a relaxing break from St. Patrick's Day parties at the pubs on the Las Vegas strip.
For visitors staying on Las Vegas Boulevard, O'Shea's is the place to be for St. Patrick's Day parties. O'Shea's is the biggest St. Patrick's Day party in Las Vegas. To start the partying, O'Shea's is kicking off its festivities with Holly Madison, star of Peepshow who was formerly connected to Hugh Hefner, playing beer pong against a Leprechaun at noon on St. Patrick's Day. There's a block party going on at O' Shea's that means 12 hours of live music and Irish-themed drink festivals with no cover charge.
St. Patrick's Day is a magnanimous holiday for both locals and visitors to Las Vegas. Because Las Vegas lives for the weekend, St. Patrick's Day will be going on for the remainder of the week. If you run out of green clothes for St. Patrick's Day celebrations, there is plenty of shopping in Las Vegas to take care of your St. Patrick's Day wardrobe needs.
