On last nights episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk had a live contract negotiation with Vince McMahon. Punk did not like the contract drafted by the WWE. So Punk had his lawyers draw up a contract to better suite his needs. Punk presented his contract to Mr. McMahon letting him know of all the changes that were added. Some of those changes included having his own private jet and printing his face on all WWE merchandise from t-shirts to collectible cups. Before Punk would allow Mr. McMahon to sign the contract he had to do one thing. Mr. McMahon had to apologize to Punk for suspending him two weeks ago. Mr. McMahon was hesitation but eventually apologized to Punk. After apologizing Punk handed Mr. McMahon the contract that already included his signature.
Just as Mr. McMahon was about to sign the contract John Cena made his way to the ring. Cena and Punk exchanged words until Cena punched Punk in the face. This made Punk so upset that he took the unsigned contract back from Mr. McMahon. Punk headed to the top of the entrance ramp where he thanked Cena for punching him in the face. It made Punk realize why he wanted to leave the company in the first place. To show that he was leaving, Punk ripped the unsigned contract into pieces.
Since Punk was unable to work out a deal with Mr. McMahon he will be leaving the company when his current contract expires. Punk's contract currently expires on July 17 th . His final match will take place on July 17th at Money In The Bank, where he will face John Cena for the WWE Championship. Punk has been letting the WWE Universe know for weeks that he will be leaving with the WWE Championship. Will Punk make good on his word or will Cena make Mr. McMahon proud by keeping the WWE Championship where it belongs? Tune in to Money In The Bank to find out.
