CM Punk Suspended

Spy Radio

For the past week CM Punk has been letting the WWE Universe know that he is leaving the WWE on July 17 th . Not only is he leaving the WWE but he plans on leaving with the WWE Championship by defeating John Cena at Money In The Bank. Punk may no longer get that opportunity due to his suspension following last nights Raw.

At the end of Raw Punk bashed the WWE, the WWE Universe, John Cena, The Rock, Vince McMahon, and even Vince's daughter. The comments against these people lead to Punk's microphone being cut off and Raw's abrupt ending.

Immediately following Raw CM Punk was suspended by Vince McMahon. McMahon told WWE.com that "CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air".

The article goes on to state "with his WWE Contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that his suspension effectively terminates CM Punk's tenure with WWE."

Punk's tenure with the WWE is not over. Punk has less than three weeks left in his WWE contract. If the WWE did not plan on bringing Punk back before Money In The Bank, they would have fired him. Since Punk was not fired, it is very likely that his match against John Cena for the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank is still on.
