C.O. Bigelow Lemon Sugar Body Scrub Review

The Pen
It's been awhile since I've shopped at C.O. Bigelow, but last week I passed by one of their locations and decided to go in and browse. One of the first things that caught my attention was their Lemon body products because I'm a big fan of their Lemon Body Lotion.

I noticed that the apothecary now carried a Lemon Sugar Body Scrub in the line, and I decided to buy it because I really needed a good exfoliating treatment.

Scent of
Bigelow Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

The scrub looks like a blend of golden brown sugar mixed with a few grains. When I first opened the jar I got a whiff of a fresh and sweet citrusy smell. It basically smells like lemons and sugar.

Results After Using
Bigelow Lemon Sugar Body Scrub

I have been really skeptical about body scrubs, because I've used exfoliating body washes that dried my skin badly and I've also used salt scrubs that burned the crap out of my eczema rashes and made them worse, so I haven't used one in awhile.

I was afraid the Lemon Sugar would be drying too, but I found that it was totally different. As soon as I scrubbed it on the oils in it instantly moisturized my dry skin and made it feel super (and I mean super) soft. The grainy sugar felt great and got my blood circulating, but it didn't burn my eczema.

Once I was done exfoliating I rinsed off, and my skin felt amazing. My skin isn't rough normally, but it was so much more silky and soft that I was amazed. And the lemon extracts really do brighten the skin, because mine's was glowing after I applied the scrub.
