I really like both products. The C.O. Bigelow Mentha Hair Mint-Infused Invigorating Shampoo lathers quite a bit so a little goes a long way. This helps make the cost of $12 per ten ounce bottle easier to handle. The scent is great and the shampoo does not affect the texture of my hair in a negative way (does not seem to "strip" my hair).
The C.O. Bigelow Mentha Hair Mint-Infused Invigorating Conditioner also smells wonderful and does a good job of leaving my hair soft and manageable. Both products create a mild tingling sensation that is quite pleasant and relaxing.
Because these products do not feature an abundance of additives or preservatives, like pretty much all Bath and Body Works products, I did not have to worry about a potential allergy even though I have sensitive skin. I also did not have to worry about an ingredient somehow making the flakes on my scalp worse.
Which brings me to the flakiness issue. Yes I do still have a flaky scalp. However, the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Hair Mint-Infused Invigorating Shampoo and Conditioner products have helped. With regular use (several times a week, if not every day), I have smaller flakes and less of them. And my hair still looks decent. One reason I don't like many shampoos that are medicated is that with frequent use my hair becomes more and more straw like. I have found the best way to achieve maximum effect is to let the shampoo and conditioner each sit on my scalp for a few minutes, after massaging the product into my hair and scalp.
I have been pleased with these Bath and Body Works products in terms of scent, quality, value and active ingredient. I would love to buy these products again, when my current supply runs out. However, there is a bit of hesitation as $12 per bottle is a bit much. If I hadn't had a coupon for buy one get one free with first purchase I may not have been able to afford buying my current supply in the first place. That being said, if you don't mind the price, the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Hair Mint-Infused Invigorating Shampoo and Conditioner are great products. I recommend them as good products for daily use, even for those who don't have any scalp issues.
