Coaches Who Inspire You

When you are in high school you are looking up to so many people for guidance, support, encouragement and teaching. The type of people like this are what we call teachers, coaches and counselors. I had a coach in high school that met and exceeded my definition of what a great role model should be.

Coach Ward was my weight lighting coach. He inspired me to push myself to the limit even when I thought I could not make it. He taught me that challenging myself would offer me great rewards in the goals I set out for myself. In life today I have taken those lessons that Coach Ward taught me and put them in my life today and it has made me a better wife and mother. On those days when I think I can not make another foot move I hear Coach Ward's voice in the background telling me to be stronger and once you pass this trial, you will have such a better respect for yourself! Thank you Coach Ward, I am so thankful for putting your heart and soul teaching children to be better adults!
