Coca Cola, confirmed on June 24th that it has pulled it's advertising from The Glenn Beck Show after thousands of World Cup fans worldwide called for sponsorship boycotts.

Beck, a US Conservative opinion show host has consistently expressed his disapproval over US involvement in The 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer Event calling the sport "Worse than curling". The comment set off a firestorm of disapproval that had even his mentor in Conservative opinion media, Bill O' Reilly, calling him a 'pinhead'.

Coca Cola confirmed their decision after supporters of activist website Stopbeck.com called them on running one spot after they had decided to pull support from Beck's show. An email to the site said:

"Hey, you're correct, our 10 second ad did run there once...You won't see us there again...Thanks for bringing it to our attention...Best!"

According to the site more than 100 advertisers have recently pulled advertising from Beck's show including Anhauser Busch, Mercedes Benz, Apple Computers, and Wal Mart.
