Cocktail Recipes: Appletini (or Apple Martini)

If you are a fan of Vodka and Apples, you are destined to not only appreciate the "Appletini", but love it, as a result. This amazing, yet fruity and flavorful apple martini was innovated by Mark Roesler. Although the drink possesses a rarity of ingredients, it remains to be one of the most popular martinis in the world to date.

The Appletini (or Apple Martini) ingredients include: Vodka, Apple Liqueur (or any Apple cordial, such as Apple Pucker or Apple Schnapps), and Apple Juice. Sometimes the famous cordial liqueur Cointreau is added to give this martini it's acquired, yet original flavor. I have developed an amazing, yet delicious spin on the drink.

The Amazing Appletini

3 oz. Vodka (Apple-based, preferably Smirnoff Apple Twist)
1 oz. Apple Schnapps (preferably DeKuyper's Sour Apple Pucker)
1 oz. Apple Juice (Apple Cider is optional)
1 splash of Grenadine
1 splash of Sprite

Combine the Vodka, Apple Schnapps, Apple Juice, Grenadine, and Sprite and serve in an martini cocktail glass.

The Appletini (aka Apple Martini) can also be made using apple cider.
