Coconut Clay Facial Masque

Spa Treatment in a Tube

Karen Francis
I am always looking for great skin products because they are so hard to find. Particularly with my sensitive skin. It has been on ongoing effort to really find skin care products that will keep my skin moisturized while allowing deep cleansing without me breaking out in a rash. Therefore, I typically try products that are natural or that proclaim to be mild or nourishing to the skin.

Recently I came across a Purifying Clay Facial Masque with coconut. The product claims to moisturize and nourish the skin. That claim immediately caught my attention so I looked to see what kind of ingredients where in this product. The primary ingredients in this product are water and kaolin which is wonderful for keeping your skin hydrated and full of moisture from the mineral clay.

When you first open the product, you'll immediately smell the coconut fragrance. It's not an overpowering, scent but just enough to tantalize your senses. The next thing that caught my attention about this product was that the Clay itself. It is not too thick or gritty but has just the right consistency for a good masque. However, I would caution you that a little bit of this product goes a long way. It typically takes about 10 minutes to harden, but I leave it on for about 20 or 30 minutes depending how deep of a cleansing I desire.

The directions on the product says you should leave it on 10 to 15 minutes or until the masque hardens, but I would suggest you do a skin test first to insure that the product will not irritate your skin as it does contain some chemicals. I was very satisfied with the products as my face feels so soft and clean when I remove the masque.

I was so impressed that I decided to do a little research to find out more about the company that manufactures this product. I found out that CST of Fall River, Massachusetts is the manufacturer of this product through Spa Treatment. CST or Commonwealth Soaps & Toiletries is a family owned and operated company. The company has been around about 12 years now and has a diverse list of clients from small to large.

In 2003, CST purchased Sarah Michael's and San Francisco Soap brands in order to expand their vision. In 2004 they began manufacturing Laura Ashley personal care products. As you well know, Laura Ashley is best known for their famous clothing and fabric line.

You can find Spa Treatments on line at CST or in discount or outlet stores such as Marshall's, TJMaxx, Ross or Bed Bath and Beyond just to name a few. The prices of these products range depending on where you acquire them. However, you can find an 8 ounce tube of Spa Treatments' Purifying Clay Facial Masque for less than $5.00. By the way, this product is not only used by women, but men enjoy the benefits of this masque as well. Let me tell you, this is the best $5.00 you will ever spend in your life. It's like a professional spa in a tube!
