This cafe is called coffee corner. It is one of the nicest cafes for hang-out in Surabaya. This two-story building is located in the center of the city and next to a university. Coffee corner opens every day from 6 PM up to 11 PM on Monday to Friday, and opens up to 1 Am at weekends with some special events organized by the cafe. The events are mostly life performance of local bands from Surabaya.
The first time I went there, I chose to sit outdoor where I could feel the light breeze and watch the sky full of sparkling stars. The seats indoor are comfortable sofas, but I would say that the atmosphere indoor isn't as nice as it is outdoor.
Speaking of the food and beverages offered, this cafe has quite interesting menu on their list. The food is either local or international such as creamy soup, nasi goreng ( fried rice), spaghetti, and many more. If you would like to have chit chat then you might need the accompany of a cup of tea or coffee, then no need to worry; there are many choices to select. I tried Cappuccino Vienna, and it was nice. The prices of the Food and Beverages are between 10,000 IDR to 45,000.
Overall, this cafe can be an option should you ever visit Surabaya, but get bored of Starbucks, Excelso or something similar.
