This coffee shop has it all; convenient location, an inviting atmosphere, and great hours. Uncommon Grounds opens early Monday through Friday at 6:30 am and closes late at 11pm. On Friday and Saturday they have extended hours until midnight. When you walk into Uncommon Grounds you are greeted with an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Take a moment to appreciate artwork by local artists that cover the walls as light music plays in the background. After you place your order enjoy the complimentary wi-fi.
Uncommon Grounds was established in 1992. Since then they grown and their selection of coffee and other items have expanded immensely. They offer anything you could possibly want. For beverages they offer coffee, espresso, tea, fountain and bottled drinks. In the morning stop by and pick up a breakfast sandwiches or a bagel and for lunch stop in for a delicious chicken salad. Here you will also fine cookies and various other desserts that they acquire through local vendors. Uncommon Grounds brews 100% of their own coffee. Everyday they offer a "brew of the day" which is a specialty coffee that they recommend to their customers. You can purchase their coffee by visiting their shop or through their website. Saratoga Coffee Traders
Another locally owned coffee shop with a great downtown location is Saratoga Coffee Traders. As soon as you walk through the doors you can see an old rustic charm. All the coffee here is organic. The impressive menu does not just stop with coffee. Saratoga Coffee Traders offers everything from wraps, salads, soups, and platters to a wide selection of coffee and espresso. Home made bread and a giant candy selection top of your choices. Stop by in the morning for either a cup of cappuccino or mocha and a bagel. Saratoga Coffee Traders opens daily from 7am to 9 pm.
As an added bonus to their customers, Saratoga Coffee Traders, offers free delivery within a 6 block radius of their shop. Their delivery offer is good Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm; a $10 minimum is required. They also offer an online store where you can purchase their coffee. Eugenio's Cafe Gelato
If you are looking for a truly unique experience in Saratoga Springs then head over to Eugenio's Cafe Gelato. Do not let the name fool you, they serve up more than just gelato. This family owned business offers some of the best coffee in town. Their menu focuses on authentic Italian style foods made from their own family recipes. You can expect to find everything from that Italian styled ice cream (gelato) and dessert to that great cup of coffee. Other Italian dishes from pastas, lasagnas, and pizza are available. Besides coffee Eugenio's Cafe Gelato also offers these beverages; espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, iced tea, Italian soda, and traditional fountain soda.
Hours vary throughout the season so it is best to call ahead. Eugenio's Cafe Gelato offer gift cards for every occasion. On their website they even give you a sneak peak into the calorie content of a gelato. An average 3.5 ounce serving of gelato runs your approximately 150 calories.
