One of the most important things that students have to find is how to fund their college education. Most of the students want to avoid student loan and so they move towards seeking scholarships. It is fortunate for these dedicated students that there is no shortage of free financial aids and along with government there are non-government agencies that provide scholarships and other financial aids. Coke scholarship is one such example. This scholarship is provided to students who want to pursue their education in college and Coca Cola Scholars Foundation funds it. There are two merit-based scholarships that are offered by them.

One of the scholarship programs, Coca-Cola Scholars Program is highly competitive and is given to high school students who want to pursue their four-year degree in college. The application process is quite rigorous as well. The students who are interested have to find out first whether they qualify for the program or not. Once they are eligible, they need to fill out and submit the application form in between August 1 and October 31. A number of students are selected by the judges and they move forward to semi-final list.

The selected students at this stage of coke scholarship are semi finalists. These semi finalists then have to submit one more application and with that they have to produce their high school transcript, two letters of recommendation and written essays. The finalists have to face an interview and the chosen candidates at the national level get $20,000 while at the regional level get $10,000.

The second scholarship program is called All-State Community College Academic Team. This is a different program in which the students are provided with stipend while studying in the college provided they are nominated by a faculty for the Academic Team. The school should be associated with Phi Theta Kappa. In order to qualify for this scholarship program, the student should be having an average GPA of 3.5, the record of disciplinary action should be clear and he or she should be pursuing an Associate's or a Bachelor's degree. If you find yourself eligible, apply for coke scholarship.
