What kind of chaos will the fans of Colbert and Stewart bring to the nation's capital on the day before Halloween? These dueling political rallies, to be held on the National Mall, will reinvigorate the twenty-something voters to get ready to go out and vote in November.
Jon Stewart: "Restore Sanity Rally"
Jon Stewart will host a "Restore Sanity" rally. What a great title for the current state of American politics. We need some sanity in all the talk about the midterm elections in November. Stewart will probably produce a very entertaining and yet informative too rally.
His wry wit will bring home some points about the craziness inundating politics lately. And there's sure to be some pointed jabs at Palin, Beck, the Tea Party and all the other folks and groups spewing hate talk and spreading lies.
Stephen Colbert: "Keep Fear Alive Rally"
Stephen Colbert will be hosting a "Keep Fear Alive" rally on October 30. He and Stewart will both be having rallies on the same day. This should prove immensely entertaining and perhaps even historic too in terms of the huge crowd that will probably appear for the rallies.
So mark your calendars, book a hotel room, and get ready to attend what will probably be a set of very memorable rallies. Colbert and Stewart are going to give America a day to remember. What a hoot. They are bringing a whole new level of energy to America's political debate.

This is great. We have to take our country forward, and away from the anti-American Tealiban.
Interesting. I'm just not sure about this. Your write-up, as always, is terrific.
I can't be there, but I am dying to see these on TV or on their websites.
It's hard to determine if this is for real or just another comic's efforts at publicity. Good article!
I don't watch their tv programs, but I will be looking forward to this. "Keep Fear Alive Rally" - wonderful!
This should be good! Nice work Julia!
They should be funny, they should be interesting, and they should make Beck's little party seem even more laughable...
Thanks for the report Julia!
