Cold Dead Eyes

Casey
Street dances wonderful things they are

If you haven't experienced one find the closest one

And if you want to experience the mother of all street dances

You'll have to come to Eveleth

Although how awesome and fun they are

They tend to attract all walks of life

Even the lowliest of sorts

I went to the Gilbert dance

Just to be a Designated Driver for my parents

But I was having fun with my family

And talking to old classmates

It was getting pretty late

I was getting really hungry

So I was walking across the street to the pizza stand

I only made it half way

Until it was deer in the headlights stopped dead

There he was staring at me along with his co-conspirator cousin

My heart dropped out on the centerline

I almost ran

But I took a breath and controlled myself

Walked calmly over to a couple friends

Then started shaking uncontrollably

After trying to regain my composure

I walked back to the bar and got my step dad

I hate to let them see me like this

I hate to let them know he can still do this to me

But they don't know what it's like

Or what it was like either

He walked with me across the street

Staring at that little rat the whole time

He wouldn't even lift his eyes from the street when he saw my stepdad

Ha what a little wuss

But the rest of the night

Every time I stepped out of the bar alone

There he was to sit and stare

With those cold dead eyes

Very sad and scary. Been there and done that it is amazing how one person can have such a hold over us.

It's so sad people have to endure things like that. :(

I would say so many things to him if I wasn't afraid that he'd shoot me! Actually I probably wouldn't be saying much but a amazon scream as I physically assaulted him, revenge would be nice but not probable...

You don't have to put up with him anymore. Tell him to get lost...
